basic tips

maybe something here you hadn't thought of

not wanting to teach anyone to suck eggs but couple of tips will be shown here
use an old soldering iron to make the holes in the carpet. nice sealed edges.
if fitting an LS3 engine then suggest making this cut out in passenger side before fitting body to ensure room for near side headers

teflon ptfe tape can be used if your oil pressure extension is weeping slightly

the scratches shown on image below are from the alternator rubbing against inner wheel arch. consider cutting and making a small box section.

if your doors pop open over very bumpy roads (not fully, just to the second safety look) then simply undo the four fixing bolts half a turn and they will find their natural place. Once happy then threadlock in new position.
door trim ends look horrible and the metal inside can catch on your clothes. Stick 1mm rubber on with hot glue or super glue and trim.
if you have a Smiths speedo and Tremec gearbox and do not want to fit a bracket and magnet sensor next to your prop shaft, then you can utilise the output on the Tremec just for this task. Cable is approx £30 or just use small bullet connectors and hold them in with hot glue. Two wires to the speedo which are signal and earth.

Program the speedo 2 ways:
1 - Set speedo to measure you driving exactly a mile (means driving uninsured) i got code of 33258
2 - Do the maths to get a very accurate reading, which for me :

Inches in a mile 63,360 - Circumference of tyre in inches  78.45 - Differential ratio 3.54 - speedo pulses per revolution 12

63,360 divided by 78.45 = 807.64
807.64 x 3.54 = 2859.07
2859.07 x 12 = CODE 34308
