wheel arch stays

Fitting wheel arch stays i had a few problems. 
First one of the dust guard holes needed rethreading to next size up. Then i found the top of front wishbone rubbed, so i simply inserted a small washer in top fixing hole which angled the stay away.
I wish I had known to make flat spot on rear hub before powder coating.
Next prob was tyres rubbing or minimal clearance. Was told i had phat tyres! so bought 40 profile, and all good.. i was thinking about grinding out centre section and drilling new holes as per the picture of the stay with black pen on it, but the lower profile tyres sorted.
Tiger sealed the cable from rear lights neatly.
Drilled holes for stay and tiger sealed.
All good. Wheels have to be put on and off at slight angle to get under arch but fits well.
